You and your dog have completed Puppy Socialization and Basic Manners Classes..…what’s next? You could take Advanced Basic Manners, but, maybe you just don’t think your dog is quite ready for Advanced Basic Manners.
We have a NEW class for you…Building A Closer Relationship With Your Dog, an Intermediate Basic Manners Class.
Do you want to have a better relationship with your dog? Does your dog need more practice with his basic manners? Would you like your dog to listen to you without having treats on you? This class is not only about building on your dog’s current basic manners but also about building a closer relationship with your dog. You will be learning how to work as a team while having fun with your dog.
This class will teach you and your dog:
- To work together as a team.
- To build on your dog’s impulse control.
- To brush up on your dog’s greeting and walking skills.
- To brush up on your dog’s basic manners skills…without having treats on you!
Who is this class for?
- Dogs who have taken our Teaching Fido Basic Manners Class (or equivalent at another training facility, or is able to sit, down, stay, and come when asked.)
- Dogs who are not quite ready for Advanced Basic Manners
- Great for the adolescent dog who made it through basic manners class but may have had some difficulty concentrating in basic manners class.
Prerequisites: Dogs must be people- and dog-friendly to attend class. Not all dogs do well in a class environment. If you are not sure whether your dog will do well in a class environment, please contact us before registering for the class. All dogs must be fully vaccinated before attending class; vaccination records will be required before starting the class.

Dates: Wednesdays, October 23 through December 4, 2024 (6 Weeks)
Time: 6:30 to 7:30 pm
Where: Classes are located in Laurel, Maryland. The address, directions, and information needed for the class will be sent once you are registered.
Fee: $214.00 (includes cost of new puzzle which you keep at completion of class)
