Walk This Way
Struggling to walk your dog? Tired of your dog pulling and dragging you around? Join us for our “Walk This Way” class using fun games. Experience the delight of walks with your dog that will promote behavioral well-being and mental and physical health for you and your dog.
Who Can Take This Class?
This class is for dogs 6 months and older.
It is a group class with no previous training needed.
Dogs must be dog/people friendly.
Class Location
This class will be held outdoors at the Duniho-Nigh Community Park in Laurel.

Classes are held by Social Tailwaggers through the Laurel Department of Parks & Recreation.
You must register through the Laurel Department of Parks & Recreation.
If you have taken classes through the City of Laurel in the past, you can click on the link above corresponding to the class you are interested in. The link will take you to the registration site. If you have not taken classes through Laurel, before you can begin using online registration, please drop in at any of the City’s Community Centers (these centers are open during the day and evening hours):
Laurel Armory Anderson-Murphy Community Center at 422 Montgomery Street, or
Robert J. DiPietro Community Center at 7901 Cypress Street
You will need to complete a Family Data Sheet to input your information in their system. Once your information is in the system it will allow you to register and pay for the classes online and get information about upcoming events, changes, cancellation, and delays.
