It’s Fun to Sniff!

Are you looking for a fun class for you and your dog?  Your dog has over 200 MILLION scent receptors in his nose…no wonder he is constantly sniffing the ground!  Sniffing is very important for a dog.  It is a means of communication with other dogs, and provides physical and mental exercise.

This fun class uses your dog’s natural ability to sniff and hunt for specific items/scent. Your dog is challenged each week by finding these items hidden under different objects. You will learn to teach your dog how to sniff out treats, your keys and a scent (vanilla), and alert you to its exact location.  Sniffing classes help build confidence in shy dogs, and strengthens the relationship between you and your dog.

Who Can Take This Class? 

This class is for dogs 6 months and older.

It is a group class with no previous training needed.

Dogs must be dog/people friendly.  If you are not sure if this class or a class environment is appropriate for your dog, please feel free to email us.  Not all dogs are suited for a class environment.  We are happy to have a discussion with you on whether classes or one-on-one training is best for you and your dog.
