Teaching Fido Basic Manners Class
Teaching your dog the basics, i.e., sit, down, stay, come, and loose leash walking should be a fun and positive experience for both you and your dog. This 7-week class is designed to teach these basic cues and then apply these cues to “life skills” such as:
- meet and greet while on leash,
- wait at the door,
- settle on a mat,
- loose leash walking skill
- recall
- leave it
- impulse control
- stay
All classes have between 3 and 5 dogs so you feel as if you are receiving “one-on-one” training.
This class is for dogs 5 months in age and older.
Prerequisites: Dogs must be people- and dog-friendly to attend class. Not all dogs do well in a class environment. If you are not sure whether your dog will do well in a class environment, please contact us before registering for the class. All dogs must be fully vaccinated before attending class; vaccination records will be required before starting the class.

Daytime Class: Tentative schedule would be Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays; start time would be between 11am and 2:30 pm. If you are interested, email us with days/times you are available.
Where: Classes are located in Laurel, MD. The address, directions, and information needed for the class will be sent to you once you are registered.
Cost: $210.00 for 7 weeks
